Transforming Toxicity: How We Fostered Psychological Safety and leveraged the human capital

THE CHALLENGE

Before engaging with our services, the client faced a significant challenge rooted in poor leadership and a toxic work culture. The leadership team exhibited behaviors such as micromanagement and aggressive communication, contributing to a work environment characterized by fear and distrust. This toxic culture hindered collaboration, innovation, and overall employee well-being. The lack of understanding among leaders about the impact of their actions on their team members' brains exacerbated the problem, leading to a pervasive sense of dissatisfaction and disengagement.

THE SOLUTION

To address the root cause of the toxic culture, we designed a custom leadership training and coaching program focused on neuroscience principles and an intervention for systemic change, developing a leadership framework and set of virtuous behaviour that determined the new company culture.
