It comprises of the dorsal attention network, which aids in focusing our attention on specific activities; the ventral network, which aids in information processing, and the salience network, which aids in identifying what is significant and demands our attention.

During a focused state, this network works together to filter out distractions and keep us on track, allowing us to process and retain information effectively.
